Ce6-L-Glutamine

Ce6-L-glutamine is a novel functionalized molecule commonly used in tumor targeted photodynamic therapy (PDT) and molecular imaging research. This structure utilizes L-glutamine as a targeted carrier, leveraging the high dependence of tumor cells on glutamine metabolism (i.e. "glutamine addiction") to achieve active recognition and enrichment of cancer cells. Meanwhile, Ce6, as a highly efficient photosensitizer, can generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) under specific wavelength light irradiation, inducing tumor cell apoptosis.
